En route to St Michael's Church of England Primary School
A Walking Bus allows a group, or 'bus', of children to walk from home to school each morning quickly and safely under the guidance of trained parent volunteers.
Ravenstone has an increasingly small catchment area, and those outside this area live in fairly diverse locations. So Walking Buses may not be right for us.
However, in August 2005 Ravenstone parents successfully tried out a route along Cloudesdale Road from Tooting Bec. In the Autumn term we intend to relaunch the Walking Buses scheme.
